The Kardashian business empire may soon welcome its youngest fashion entrepreneur. Kim Kardashian has taken early steps to help her daughter North West enter the world of fashion by filing multiple trademarks for a brand called NOR11, signaling plans that could transform the preteen into the next generation of the family’s business dynasty.

The trademark applications were filed on January 14 and cover a wide variety of potential products tied to the name NOR11. According to the filings, the brand could include clothing, footwear, hats, handbags, watches, jewelry and cosmetic cases, suggesting that the label is envisioned as a full lifestyle brand rather than a single product line.

The name itself carries a personal meaning. NOR11 combines the first three letters of North’s name with the number eleven, which appears to reference the age she was when the idea for the brand first began taking shape. North turned twelve in June 2025, placing the concept firmly within a period when she had already started attracting attention for her distinctive sense of style.

While the trademarks hint at a possible fashion launch, the project also reflects a broader strategy within the Kardashian family to build business ventures around their personal brands. Kim Kardashian has become one of the most successful celebrity entrepreneurs of her generation through companies like Skims, the shapewear and apparel brand she co founded that has grown into a multibillion dollar global business.

In many ways, North’s potential brand follows the same formula that helped propel her mother’s ventures to success. The idea of combining personal identity with a memorable brand name mirrors the strategy behind Skims and other Kardashian enterprises. By securing trademarks early, Kim appears to be laying the legal groundwork for a business that could evolve alongside her daughter’s growing public profile.

North West is no stranger to the spotlight. As the eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, she has grown up surrounded by fashion, music and media attention. Born in 2013, she has already stepped into several creative spaces including acting, music and fashion appearances alongside her famous parents.

Her growing interest in style has been visible in public appearances and social media posts. In late 2025 she shared images of herself and friends wearing black fur hats embroidered with the NOR11 logo, which many observers believe were early hints of the upcoming brand.

North has also spoken about her creative ambitions in interviews, revealing that she draws inspiration from a mix of streetwear culture, music and the people around her. Her influences include her father Kanye West as well as artists known for pushing fashion boundaries, reflecting the kind of bold aesthetic that could shape her own future designs.

Despite the excitement surrounding the trademarks, there is currently no confirmed launch date for the NOR11 line. Filing trademarks is a common first step in building a brand and does not necessarily mean products will appear immediately. Still, the broad range of categories listed in the filings suggests that the concept is being considered on a large scale.

The move also reflects Kim Kardashian’s evolving role as both parent and business mentor. In recent interviews she has acknowledged the challenges of balancing motherhood with managing her children’s growing public presence. Acting as what she jokingly describes as North’s “momager,” Kardashian appears committed to guiding her daughter through the early stages of entrepreneurship while protecting her interests.

Whether NOR11 becomes a full scale fashion empire or simply a creative experiment remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that the foundations for North West’s potential fashion career are already being carefully constructed.

If the history of the Kardashian brand is any indication, the next generation may already be preparing to make its mark on the fashion world.
