Travel Influencer Anunay Sood, 32, Dies in Las Vegas; Family Urges Privacy

Dubai-based travel influencer Anunay Sood has died at the age of 32 while in Las Vegas, his family announced via an Instagram statement on Nov. 5. The cause of death has not been disclosed, and his family asked for privacy and requested that well-wishers avoid gathering near his personal property, saying: “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”

Sood had amassed more than 1.4 million followers on Instagram and roughly 387,000 subscribers on YouTube, and was featured on Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years (2022-2024).

Prior to his passing he posted from Las Vegas, where he had attended the luxury car event Las Vegas Concours d’Élégance, captioning his experience: "Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines."

Sood began his creator career by sharing budget travel adventures and trekking vlogs from the Himalayas before evolving into high-end lifestyle and travel content, incorporating photography, cinema-style reels and brand partnerships. He also co-founded the Dubai-based marketing agency Groundwork Solutions.
