Influencer Vanessa Mariposa Says She Was Drugged and Robbed at a Rooftop Party in Spain

Austrian fitness influencer Vanessa Mariposa is speaking out after a terrifying experience at a rooftop party in Mallorca, Spain, where she alleges she was drugged and robbed. Mariposa, who has more than 600,000 followers on Instagram, recounted the incident in a video posted to her social media, expressing shock and concern over what transpired.

According to Mariposa, she attended a rooftop gathering with a friend and consumed just three glasses of wine. Despite keeping her drink with her at all times, she began to feel extremely unwell shortly after. “I know my limits, and this was different,” she said in the video. “I suddenly felt dizzy and weak, and everything became blurry. I knew something was wrong.”

She described that both she and her friend became almost completely immobilized, vomiting, and were unable to move or speak properly. Mariposa noted that she has no memory of certain moments from the night and that it was later confirmed by medical professionals that both women had been drugged. The substances detected in their systems are commonly associated with date rape, although exact details were not disclosed.

“It’s a miracle we got home safely,” she said, crediting other partygoers who noticed their deteriorating state and helped them back to their accommodation. “Things could have gone so much worse.”

Once back home, Mariposa discovered that her expensive Cartier bracelet had been stolen and that someone had removed the SIM card from her phone, likely in an attempt to prevent her from contacting anyone for help. “It wasn’t just about being drugged they stole from me and took away my ability to communicate. It’s terrifying,” she added.

The influencer was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors confirmed she had been drugged. Although she is now physically stable, Mariposa admits that the emotional aftermath is still ongoing. “I’m still processing it. I’m in shock. This isn’t something you ever expect to happen to you.”

The incident has prompted Mariposa to speak out to raise awareness about the dangers of drink spiking, particularly in social settings where people might feel safe. “Always keep an eye on your drink, even if you think you’re being careful. And watch out for your friends too,” she urged. “If this could happen to me, it could happen to anyone.”

So far, Spanish authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the alleged drugging and robbery, and it is unclear whether an investigation has been launched. Mariposa said she plans to file a police report once she’s emotionally ready and has recovered enough to provide a detailed account.

Support from fans and fellow influencers has poured in since her post, with many commending her for speaking out and encouraging her to pursue justice. Several commenters shared similar stories, echoing the importance of raising awareness about the issue.

“This wasn’t just a bad night. It was a violation of my safety and trust,” Mariposa concluded. “I’m sharing my story so others can be more cautious, and so we can hopefully prevent something like this from happening again.”
