The story of social media influencer Zachary Latham has taken another dramatic turn, ending with a lengthy prison sentence that has once again placed him in the national spotlight. Nearly six years after making headlines in a widely publicized fatal stabbing case that prosecutors alleged was fueled by a desire for online fame, Latham has now been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted kidnapping and several related offenses. Latham, now 24, was sentenced in a Florida court after pleading guilty to attempted kidnapping, domestic battery by strangulation, criminal mischief, violating pretrial release conditions, and harassing a witness.
