Influencer Lauren Cummings Johnson and her husband, Wilson Johnson, are grieving the loss of their 9-month-old daughter, Lily Ann, who passed away on April 6, 2025. Born on July 6, 2024, Lily Ann was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder that prevented her body from breaking down protein due to a missing enzyme in the urea cycle.

Throughout her short life, Lily Ann faced numerous medical challenges, including multiple hospitalizations and the need for specialized feeding methods. Initially, she was fed through a nasogastric (NG) tube, and in December 2024, she underwent gastrostomy (G-tube) surgery to assist with nutrition. Despite these hardships, Lauren described her daughter as "pure joy and sunshine," bringing immense love and happiness to their family.

Lauren had been open about Lily Ann's health journey on social media, sharing updates and raising awareness about her condition. In an Instagram post announcing Lily Ann's passing, the couple expressed their deep faith, stating, "We are so incredibly grateful for the promise of Heaven and the hope we have in our Heavenly Father." They also thanked their followers for the continuous prayers and support received since Lily Ann's birth.

The funeral service for Lily Ann was scheduled for April 14, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the Johnsons requested donations be made to Alive Hospice and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, organizations that had provided care and support during Lily Ann's life.

Lauren has since shared the difficulties of engaging with her online community following the loss, noting that Lily Ann "loved" being part of her social media posts. The family's journey has highlighted the challenges faced by those dealing with rare pediatric conditions and the importance of community support during such times.
