Hannah Campbell, a social media influencer, has shared the heartbreaking news of her 10-month-old daughter, Elliana Rose's passing on April 7, 2025. Elliana succumbed to junctional epidermolysis bullosa (JEB), a rare and severe genetic skin disorder that causes extreme skin fragility and internal blistering.

Throughout Elliana's life, Campbell chronicled her daughter's battle with JEB on TikTok, educating over 700,000 followers about the condition and sharing their family's efforts to cherish every moment. Elliana required extensive daily care, including specialized wound treatment, medications, and adaptive equipment.

In the wake of Elliana's passing, Campbell expressed profound grief, stating that no child should endure such suffering and called for increased awareness and funding to find a cure. She has launched a fundraiser, “Elliana’s Hope for Healing,” aiming to support other families and fund research to cure EB by 2030.

The funeral for Elliana was held on April 13, 2025. Campbell shared an emotional TikTok video documenting the family's preparations for the ceremony, honoring Elliana with meaningful jewelry and heartfelt tributes. Dr. Diana Roche, Elliana's dermatologist, traveled from Massachusetts to attend the service and delivered a moving speech about the baby's condition and valiant fight for life.

Junctional epidermolysis bullosa is a rare genetic disorder characterized by extreme skin fragility, leading to blistering and wounds from minor friction or trauma. There is currently no cure, and management involves wound care, pain control, and prevention of complications.

Campbell continues to raise awareness for EB, remembering Elliana as a brave and inspirational "butterfly baby." She emphasizes the need to fight for a future free from the pain caused by EB and thanks the online community for their unwavering support.
